Service

Tímavera provides a time tracking service for companies, sole traders, and other organizations. We may update or modify features from time to time. Since our founding in 2017, we have maintained 99.99% uptime (less than 1 hour of downtime per year). However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and occasional downtime may occur for maintenance or technical issues.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Userdata

Data that Tímavera uses as necessary to fulfill the core function of tracking time.

  • Tímavera uses personally identifiable userdata to be able to provide a time tracking solution.
  • A work log can include a text comment by the employee, a picture sent by the employee as well as the employee geo-location.
  • Tímavera also stores employee names and phone numbers (if provided), as input by the employer.
  • All userdata is securely stored until the user requests to delete the account.

Tímavera does not share any userdata with anyone. Access control is active and the utmost security measures are applied to ensure that userdata is only accessible to those who should receive access.

Billing

Our card order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Icelandic customers pay by default by bank transfers. Invoices are sent with the invoicing system Payday. Invoices can be if requested sent electronically (is: rafræn skeytamiðlun / XML). Icelandic customers can also pay by card but those payments must be in EUR and include VAT.

Refund Policy

We offer a full refund within 30 days of your payment date, regardless of payment method. To request a refund, please contact us at timavera@timavera.ie or call us at +354 539 5118.

If you are paying by card processed through Paddle, you can also request a refund directly at https://paddle.net. Refunds typically take 3–5 business days to process.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account Settings when logged in, or by contacting us. When you cancel, your account will be deactivated but your data will be retained indefinitely for record-keeping purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts for non-payment or misuse of the service.

Limitation of Liability

Tímavera is provided as-is. We are not liable for any indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at localhost/terms. Continued use of Tímavera after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. Any disputes will be handled in Icelandic courts.
